Trump: Feds Probing Impersonator Who Hacked Suzie Wiles’ Phone

In a parallel move that’s ruffling feathers in left-leaning media circles, the Trump White House is reportedly finalizing a bold restructuring of the briefing room, one that could finally tip the scales away from legacy media gatekeepers and toward platforms that speak for everyday Americans.

For the first time in decades, the White House—not the liberal-controlled White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA)—will assign press room seating. This major shift could reduce front-row visibility for some corporate media giants while allowing MAGA-aligned outlets and new conservative media voices greater access and presence.

A senior administration official explained the rationale to Axios: “The goal isn’t merely favorable coverage. It’s truly an honest look at consumption [of the outlets’ coverage]. Influencers are important, but it’s tough because they aren’t [equipped to provide] consistent coverage. So the ability to cover the White House is part of the metrics.”

The official added that major outlets will not be excluded but will likely face “diminished visibility” as the White House prioritizes voices that better reflect the modern media landscape and real voter interests.

As expected, leftist journalists are already in meltdown mode. WHCA president Eugene Daniels lashed out, claiming the new arrangement “tears at the independence of a free press.” Yet Daniels failed to cite a single example of censorship, nor could he refute the fact that no outlet has been banned from covering the president.

Politico noted that Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt has reserved a dedicated “new media seat” and expanded what some have dubbed the “conservative corner” of the room—where a growing number of independent and right-leaning reporters now gather.

This bold realignment mirrors the broader shift in American media consumption: the public is increasingly turning away from the corporate press and toward platforms that actually represent their values and priorities.
