Trump Gives New Orders After ‘Thugs’ Attack ICE Agents

President Donald J. Trump announced Monday he is granting “Total Authorization” to U.S. immigration officers to defend themselves “by any means necessary” after violent left-wing protesters attacked federal agents during a legal enforcement action at a marijuana farm in California.

The president said on Truth Social that he was “watching in disbelief” as “THUGS” hurled bricks and rocks at ICE agents, who were simply carrying out lawful orders.

“I never want to see a car carrying a Law Enforcement Officer attacked again!” Trump wrote. “AUTHORIZATION IMMEDIATELY GRANTED FOR ARREST AND INCARCERATION.”

In his directive, Trump gave instructions to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Border Czar Tom Homan to empower ICE and all federal law enforcement to arrest violent protesters on the spot.

“If anyone throws rocks, bricks, or any other form of assault… use whatever means is necessary to stop it,” Trump declared.

The clashes erupted during a large-scale raid on a marijuana grow operation in Santa Barbara County, where over 360 illegal aliens were arrested and 14 migrant children rescued, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Roughly 500 radical demonstrators swarmed the site in an attempt to obstruct the operation. At least one ICE agent was injured after being struck by a rock thrown by the crowd. That agent was taken to the emergency room and required stitches for lacerations to his hand.

Federal officials are placing direct blame on Democratic Congressman Salud Carbajal (D-CA), who they say “incited the mob.”

According to DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin, Rep. Carbajal doxxed the injured agent by displaying his business card to the crowd, moments before the assault took place.

“The actions by Representative Carbajal are downright un-American,” said McLaughlin. “He incited a riot that sent an ICE employee to the hospital.”

This isn’t the first time a Democrat lawmaker has been accused of obstructing federal immigration enforcement. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) was indicted last month after surveillance footage captured her storming into an ICE detention center in Newark to block an arrest.

She now faces federal charges of interfering with a lawful apprehension of an illegal alien.

The raids are part of what President Trump has called the largest mass deportation campaign in U.S. history. In addition to ICE agents, more than 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines have been deployed to California—over the objections of Governor Gavin Newsom, who has tried to resist federal immigration law at every turn.

Trump’s bold move to strip power from California sanctuary officials and reassert federal law has ignited fierce resistance from the left—but the American people are standing with law and order.

“ICE has the full backing of the Commander-in-Chief,” said one senior DHS official. “No more tolerance for left-wing mobs attacking our officers.”
