Trump Levels Crockett: 'Demeaning to Our Country'

When it comes to exposing the weaknesses of the Democratic Party, Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett makes it almost effortless.

In recent months, the progressive from the Dallas area has built a shameful track record, frequently launching reckless verbal attacks on Republicans like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and senior officials from former President Donald Trump’s administration.

And this week at the White House, Trump "hit the nail right on the head."

According to a report by RedState contributor Blonchie, Trump sat down with conservative commentator and TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck on Thursday for a discussion about his vision for the first 100 days of a potential return to the presidency.

When the topic shifted to his Democratic adversaries — with Crockett coming up specifically — Trump didn’t mince words.

“It’s just so bad. Their policy is so bad,” he said.

“You know, they’re great at cheating, and they’re great at certain things, but they are so bad on policy, they’re so far off. When I watched them trying to prosecute the same things that just lost an election in a landslide on, and they’re still going through the same things. It’s just crazy, and they don’t know who their leaders are.

“They have a new one, Crockett. Have you seen Crockett? Have you ever seen her talk? This is going to be their leader?”

Beck responded with a laugh.

“I hope she’s their next candidate for president,” he joked.

“Well, we can hope in one way,” Trump replied. “But in another way, it’s pretty demeaning. It’s demeaning to our country. You don’t see anybody out there.”

That exchange perfectly captures the core issue.

From a purely political standpoint, the emergence of figures like Crockett — who seem inept and extreme — serves as a clear advantage for Republicans, much like the fame of left-wing personalities such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York benefits the GOP.

While these figures might excite the increasingly radical Democratic base, they fail to offer the kind of serious leadership expected in a nation that recently endured four years of Joe Biden’s blundering presidency, supported by compliant congressional Democrats and a biased mainstream media.

However, for the United States as a whole — a nation founded by some of history’s greatest minds and blessed with extraordinary wealth and influence — the idea that someone like Jasmine Crockett could be considered a serious leader in a major political party is a profound disgrace.

Trump's countless critics might attempt to draw similar criticisms against him, but even they would have to concede that Trump built an internationally recognized business empire.

They would also have to admit that Trump spent decades under public scrutiny without attracting major opposition — until he threatened the entrenched dominance of the Democratic Party, its media partners, and a directionless Republican establishment.

Moreover, they would be forced to recognize that despite being hampered by baseless political investigations and an unfounded impeachment during his first term, Trump managed to drive the American economy to historic highs and made unprecedented strides toward peace in the Middle East.

The Democratic Party offers no comparable achievements — and that's saying something. Trump is a once-in-a-generation political figure. Few nations could produce two such leaders at the same time.

Yet what the Democrats present is nothing short of embarrassing: verbose egotists like Cory Booker; cold, technocratic elitists like Pete Buttigieg; superficial opportunists like Gavin Newsom; dishonest loudmouths like Elizabeth Warren — and the list continues.

And, of course, there's Jasmine Crockett, whom even some within her own party seem to recognize for what she is.

It’s not merely shameful that she is becoming one of the loudest voices of the Democratic Party — it’s an insult to her party, her state, and, as Trump put it, “It’s demeaning to our country.”

That absolutely "hits the nail right on the head."
