Trump: No Illegal Aliens Entered Country for 10th Straight Month

In a stunning vindication of constitutional governance and national sovereignty, the Trump administration confirmed this month that not a single illegal alien has been released into the American interior for the 10th consecutive month. This milestone marks a total restoration of the rule of law, initiated after President Trump took office for his second term and issued immediate executive mandates for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to resume the rigorous enforcement of existing immigration statutes.

The transformation of the southern border is nothing short of historic. It stands in stark contrast to the previous four years under the Biden-Harris administration, an era defined by radical "open border" radicalism that saw an estimated 10 million-plus foreign nationals stream into the United States with de facto immunity.

“Ten straight months of ZERO illegal aliens released at the border. President Trump promised to secure the Border, and that is a promise we delivered,” stated former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem in a recent briefing. “We have the most secure border in American history. Our borders are CLOSED to lawbreakers.”

Restoring Integrity to the Homeland

The shift toward an "enforcement-first" posture has effectively dismantled the "catch-and-release" infrastructure that previously incentivized illegal migration. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Rodney Scott noted that the February data reflects a renewed commitment to the safety of the American people.

“February marks the tenth straight month that U.S. Border Patrol has not released a single illegal alien into the interior of the United States — a clear reflection of the enforcement-first posture restoring integrity to our nation’s borders,” Scott said. “While threats to our national and economic security continue to evolve, so does our resolve to meet them, as we carry out our mission of protecting the homeland while facilitating lawful travel and trade.”

The statistical reality of the Trump administration's success is undeniable. According to a DHS fact sheet published March 19, illegal crossings have cratered to their lowest levels in over 30 years. Daily apprehensions have plummeted, with monthly totals on the southwest border remaining below 9,000 for 13 consecutive months.

The Data of Decisive Action

A comparison between the current administration and the previous era of dereliction reveals the efficacy of President Trump's policies:

  • Nationwide Encounters: CBP reported 26,963 encounters in February—an 88% drop compared to the Biden-Harris average.
  • Southwest Border Apprehensions: Agents apprehended just 6,603 individuals in February, a staggering 97% decrease from the disastrous peak recorded in December 2023.
  • Daily Averages: Daily crossings have fallen to an average of 236 per day, representing a 95% reduction from the previous administration’s numbers.

While human trafficking and illegal crossings have been stifled, CBP has successfully shifted resources toward interdicting the poison flowing into American communities. Agents confiscated over 79,000 pounds of narcotics nationwide last month, including a 67% surge in fentanyl seizures. This aggressive interdiction highlights the administration’s dual-track success: stopping the invasion of people while escalating the war on the cartels.

The Personal Cost of Patriotism

The effort to reclaim American borders has not come without personal sacrifice. Border Czar Tom Homan recently joined Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow to discuss the heavy toll of his mission to fix the crisis he inherited.

“I mean, this is the second time I came out of retirement for the president. It’s hard to say no to the president of the United States and help him fix something where thousands of lives have been lost,” Homan said. “So I knew the hate was coming. And, you know, unfortunately, my family pays the price. I haven’t lived with my family in months because of the death threats against me. But my family understands the important mission.”

Homan, a career law enforcement professional, noted that his critics fail to grasp the human and social costs of mass illegal immigration—costs he has witnessed firsthand over 35 years. Under the current administration, those costs are finally being mitigated as the United States reasserts its right to exist as a sovereign nation with defined, defended borders.
