Trump Offers to Name Names in Epstein Scandal: “I’ll Give You a List”
President Donald J. Trump shocked the press corps on Friday by suggesting he was prepared to hand over names of alleged associates linked to Jeffrey Epstein — a bold move that instantly redirected scrutiny onto high-powered elites long shielded by legacy media silence.
“You should focus on Clinton. You should focus on the president of Harvard, the former president of Harvard, you should focus on some of the hedge fund guys. I’ll give you a list,” President Trump said while departing the White House for Scotland, according to The New York Post.
“These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein. I sure as hell didn’t,” he added.
In classic Trump fashion, he blasted the media for their selective outrage and double standards. “You ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times. I never went to the island,” he said pointedly.
When pressed on whether he would pardon Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s long-time companion and convicted accomplice, Trump responded, “I can’t talk about pardons,” and later added, “It’s something I haven’t thought about.”
The remarks came as Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche — a seasoned litigator and former personal lawyer to Trump — continued a second round of questioning with Maxwell in Tallahassee. Trump expressed full confidence in Blanche: “He’s a professional lawyer who’s been through things like this before.”
Trump also dismissed a 2003 birthday book entry supposedly written by him in a collection compiled by Maxwell for Epstein. “Somebody could have written a letter and used my name,” Trump said.
Meanwhile, Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, confirmed that she had cooperated fully with the Department of Justice, reportedly naming around 100 individuals linked to Epstein’s inner circle. “Ms. Maxwell answered every single question,” Markus said. “She never stopped, she never invoked a privilege… she answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability.”

Upon landing in Scotland, reporters once again hounded President Trump over his alleged ties to Epstein and sealed DOJ files. He dismissed their conspiratorial tone with disdain: “I’m focused on making deals. I’m not focused on conspiracy theories that you are,” he said. “I mean, I watch you people, it’s so sad.”
Public interest in Epstein’s web of influence has reignited after Attorney General Pam Bondi hinted earlier this year that new bombshells could soon come to light. At one point, she suggested the DOJ may possess a version of Epstein’s long-rumored client list — though her July 6 memo stated definitively that “no such list exists” and that Epstein died by suicide in 2019.
The official Justice Department review concluded that while more than 1,000 women and girls were exploited by Epstein and Maxwell, there was “insufficient evidence” to pursue criminal charges against other high-profile figures.
That review did little to satisfy many Americans — or President Trump’s base — who continue to demand transparency and accountability from an establishment that seems more eager to protect its own than to deliver justice.
Now, with Blanche again meeting Maxwell for a reported three-hour session, the DOJ says it will “share additional information about what we learned at the appropriate time.”
Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, may still hold key insights — but whether the DOJ truly intends to pursue justice or simply manage public fallout remains an open question.
What’s clear is this: President Trump isn’t playing defense. He’s flipping the script.
