Trump Reiterates Epstein Case Is ‘Hoax’ Run By ‘Worst Scum On Earth’
President Donald J. Trump is once again challenging the political establishment’s narrative surrounding the late Jeffrey Epstein, calling the media frenzy a “hoax” orchestrated by “the worst scum on earth.”
During a diplomatic visit to Scotland, where Trump met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and European leaders to finalize new trade agreements with the EU, the President addressed fresh media attempts to tie him to Epstein.
“They ran the files. I was running against somebody that ran the files,” Trump told reporters. “If they had something they would have released it… The whole thing is a hoax. Those files were run by the worst scum on earth.”

Trump’s comments drew a direct comparison to the Russia collusion hoax—a now-debunked smear campaign spearheaded by Obama-era intelligence officials and funded in part by Hillary Clinton’s campaign via the discredited Steele Dossier.
As legacy media outlets continue pushing Epstein-related stories, even the Washington Post was forced to admit there is “no public evidence of any wrongdoing on [President Donald] Trump’s part.” Despite this, left-leaning pundits and Democrat lawmakers continue to stoke speculation, hoping to score political points ahead of the 2026 midterms.
Earlier this month, Attorney General Pam Bondi's Justice Department reaffirmed that its extensive review of the Epstein case has concluded, and that “no further documents” are being withheld. The memo also reiterated that Epstein’s death was officially ruled a suicide—though skepticism remains high among Americans who believe powerful elites may have had motive to silence him permanently.
President Trump has long been transparent about his minimal association with Epstein, having famously cut ties with the disgraced financier years before his 2006 arrest. Trump reportedly banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after learning of inappropriate behavior toward staff—an early red flag Trump didn’t ignore.
While his name appears in DOJ files due to that former social connection, there is zero evidence of criminal conduct by Trump. The Post's investigation supports Trump’s repeated assertion: “I had a falling out with him. I was not a fan.”
In stark contrast to prior administrations, President Trump has actively championed full transparency in the Epstein investigation. He personally authorized the DOJ’s comprehensive case review and supported a motion to unseal grand jury testimony—though that request was blocked by a federal judge.
Meanwhile, congressional Republicans are leading the charge for deeper accountability. A House subcommittee chaired by Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) just passed a bipartisan measure compelling the Justice Department to release thousands of pages of Epstein-related documents. “By September, the president will surely have turned over everything,” Comer predicted confidently.

View PlansThe renewed push for truth and transparency comes as Americans grow increasingly frustrated with what many see as a two-tiered justice system—one that protects elites while punishing political dissidents.
President Trump’s unwavering demand for accountability may finally force open the black box surrounding Epstein’s inner circle—and expose who the real criminals were all along.
