Trump Secures Total Iranian Capitulation: ‘They Have Agreed to Everything’

In a massive victory for the Trump administration’s "Peace Through Strength" doctrine, President Donald J. Trump announced Friday that the Iranian regime has completely folded under U.S. pressure, agreeing to surrender its entire stockpile of enriched uranium.

Speaking with CBS News in a phone interview, President Trump confirmed that the Islamic Republic has "agreed to everything" following a relentless campaign of economic strangulation and precision military strikes. The President emphasized that the operation to secure and remove the hazardous material will be a joint effort, successfully avoiding the need for a ground invasion.

“No. No troops,” President Trump stated. “We’ll go down and get it with them, and then we’ll take it. We’ll be getting it together because by that time, we’ll have an agreement and there’s no need for fighting when there’s an agreement. Nice right? That’s better. We would have done it the other way if we had to.”

The "other way," as the President noted, would have involved American boots on the ground to forcibly seize the material—a contingency the administration was fully prepared to execute. Instead, the President’s hardline diplomacy has paved the way for a peaceful extraction. “Our people, together with the Iranians, are going to work together to go get it. And then we’ll take it to the United States,” the President said of the enriched uranium.

While initial reports from Axios suggested the uranium might be moved to a third-party country, and Tehran desperately sought a "down-blending" compromise, the Trump administration remained firm. The primary objective remains the total removal of nearly 2,000kg of enriched uranium from Iran’s fortified underground bunkers—specifically the 450kg of 60% purity material that brought the regime to the precipice of nuclear breakout.

According to the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, commercial nuclear power requires only 3 to 5 percent enrichment, while 90 percent is the standard for weapons. The 60% purity level currently held by Iran is widely viewed by experts as a direct stepping stone to a nuclear bomb.

The scale of the threat was laid bare by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. In a recent interview with Fox News, Witkoff recounted a chilling meeting in March where Iranian negotiators boasted of having enough material for 11 nuclear weapons.

According to Witkoff, the Iranians claimed an "inalienable right" to enrich their fuel. The Trump administration’s response was swift and definitive. “We, of course, responded that the president feels we have the inalienable right to stop you dead in your tracks,” Witkoff said.

“In that first meeting, both the Iranian negotiators said to us, directly, with no shame, that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60 percent, and they’re aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs," Witkoff added. He noted that 60% enriched uranium can be converted to weapons-grade material in as little as one week. "They were proud that they had evaded all sorts of oversight protocols to get to a place where they could deliver 11 nuclear bombs."

That pride has since turned to desperation. The regime’s collapse follows a devastating U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that the blockade is bleeding the Iranian economy of $435 million per day. Combined with weeks of targeted U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on petrochemical and steel infrastructure, the mullahs were left with no choice but to surrender their nuclear ambitions or face total domestic ruin.

Under President Trump’s leadership, the United States has once again proven that American sovereignty and global security are best protected through unwavering resolve rather than the failed appeasement policies of the past.
