Trump Suing Wall Street Journal After Outlet Publishes Alleged Letter to Epstein
President Donald J. Trump has announced plans to sue The Wall Street Journal, News Corp, and media mogul Rupert Murdoch over what he is calling a “completely fabricated” letter that the outlet claims links him to Jeffrey Epstein.
In a blistering post on Truth Social Thursday, President Trump slammed the Journal for printing what he says is a fake letter, falsely attributed to him, and made clear that the outlet was warned in advance not to run the story.

“The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued,” Trump wrote.
“Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it but, obviously, did not have the power to do so.”

View PlansThe Journal report in question described the letter as part of a collection of messages compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell in honor of Epstein’s 50th birthday. According to the outlet, the typewritten letter was allegedly adorned with a sketch of a naked woman and bore what it claimed was Trump’s signature beneath the waistline of the drawing. It also quoted a message reading, “May every day be another wonderful secret.”
But the Journal did not publish an image of the letter or provide any verification of its authenticity — a glaring omission that critics are calling journalistic malpractice.
President Trump flatly rejected the idea that he wrote the letter, drew any image, or used the alleged language.
“I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women,” he told the Journal.
“It’s not my language. It’s not my words.”

Trump emphasized that both he and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt informed WSJ Editor Emma Tucker that the letter was fake. Yet, according to Trump, the Journal moved forward with the article regardless.
“Instead, they are going with a false, malicious, and defamatory story anyway,” Trump wrote.
“The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don’t even exist.”
The President said a lawsuit will be filed “shortly” and added that The Wall Street Journal has “truly turned out to be a ‘Disgusting and Filthy Rag.’”

View PlansThis firestorm comes the same week Trump dismissed the renewed focus on Epstein as a “Democrat Hoax,” and took bold action to expose the truth. On Thursday, he ordered the release of all pertinent grand jury testimony related to Epstein, a move that could shed light on who truly enabled and covered up the billionaire predator’s crimes.
As usual, corporate media outlets have focused their energy on smearing Trump rather than questioning the elites with actual ties to Epstein.
