Trump to Sign Over 200 Executive Actions on Day One

President Donald Trump is set to enact 11 executive orders today specifically addressing the border crisis, with three already generating significant attention online.

Trump's agenda includes more than 200 executive actions, launching a sweeping set of policy measures focused on energy, border security, cost reductions for American families, the elimination of DEI programs within the federal government, and more.

As reported by Fox News, the following are three major border-related executive orders Trump is expected to sign immediately:

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Defense (DOD) will be directed to complete the border wall. Personnel will be stationed to secure the border. Parole programs, including the CBP One App, will be terminated. The migrant flight program will end, "catch and release" policies will cease, and the "Remain in Mexico" policy will be reinstated.

U.S. military forces will be deployed to the border under NORTHCOM.

Criminal organizations such as Tren de Aragua and MS-13 will be designated as foreign terrorist organizations, granting broader authority to disrupt their operations.

"The president is issuing a historic series of executive orders and actions that will fundamentally reform the American government, including the complete and total restoration of American sovereignty," a senior official told Fox News.

On his first day in office, Trump will declare a national border emergency, instruct the U.S. military to collaborate with DHS to fully secure the southern border, and prioritize dismantling criminal cartels operating within the United States.

Additionally, Trump will sign a proclamation closing the border to all illegal crossings.

Trump also plans to establish homeland security task forces comprised of FBI, ICE, CEA, and other law enforcement agencies to "fully eradicate the presence of criminal cartels."

To advance his security objectives, Trump will formally classify cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, according to an official statement.

He will also reinstate the "Remain in Mexico" policy and authorize military efforts to construct additional segments of the border wall. Trump will invoke emergency powers to suspend illegal crossings at the southwest border, ensuring that detained individuals are "swiftly returned to their countries of origin."

Trump will "fully unleash" Alaskan energy, with an official noting that this move is vital to "U.S. national security."

According to Fox News, the executive order on energy will address "every single energy policy," covering liquid natural gas, ports, fracking, pipelines, permitting, and other areas while reversing President Biden's policies that have "constrained U.S. energy supply."

In addition, Trump plans to restructure the federal bureaucracy by reinstating presidential oversight over the career federal workforce, making it clear that employees who do not comply with executive directives could face job termination.

Trump will introduce an executive order to implement a merit-based hiring system and expand presidential authority over senior government officials. He also intends to mandate federal employees return to in-person work.

The official further stated that Trump will put an end to the "weaponization of the federal government," pledge to "restore freedom of speech," and "end federal censorship."

According to the official, Trump will also take control of foreign aid and NGO funding while imposing a hiring freeze within the Department of Government Efficiency.

"He is reasserting muscular control of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government," the official told Fox News.

To address rising costs for American households, a senior official told Fox News Digital that Trump's "historic de-regulatory effort" will begin with a presidential memorandum instructing all federal agencies to eliminate regulations that increase costs for families and consumers.

"This is a massive, record-setting, unmatched first wave," the official told Fox News Digital. "Even after this, there is a whole host in the queue to continue the restoration of America."

The official emphasized that "everything" voters supported in the election "is being translated into executive policy."

"There is a massive federal workforce that has been moving its objectives at the expense of the American people—and President Trump is taking command, saying you will serve the American people and only American people," the official said. "This is about stopping corrupt, abusive behavior and re-focusing the government on its fundamental duties to the American people."

Officials from the incoming administration have described the overarching theme of Trump's initial actions as "promises made, promises kept."

"As soon as President Trump places his hand on the Bible and swears the Oath to the United States Constitution, the Golden Age of America will begin," White Housepress secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News. "The American people will have a leader who will deliver on the promises he made to restore our country’s greatness."

On Sunday, the president-elect provided insight into one of his Day One executive orders concerning the widely known video-sharing platform TikTok, which was previously ordered to shut down in the U.S. following a Supreme Court ruling.

Trump is expected to sign an order to "extend the period before the law’s prohibitions take effect so that we can make a deal to protect our national security." He also stated that the order would ensure that "no company that helped keep TikTok from going dark before my order will be held liable."

A senior Trump official characterized this wave of executive actions as "shock and awe on a scale never seen before."
