Tucker Carlson Reveals One Story That He’s Too Frightened To Cover

Conservative icon and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has built a career fearlessly confronting controversial subjects—from corrupt government agencies to election integrity. But even Carlson admits there are certain stories that shake him to his core—none more than the mystery surrounding UFOs.

Speaking on the Redacted podcast, Carlson revealed that while he generally avoids rehashing the 2020 election controversy, there’s one topic he actively tries to avoid altogether: unidentified flying objects. And not because he doesn’t believe in them—but because what he’s heard terrifies him.

“There are parts of that story that I do not understand at all that are really, really, really dark,” Carlson confessed. “So dark that I haven’t told my wife about it… this isn’t stuff I just read on the internet.”

Carlson emphasized that much of what’s publicly speculated about UFOs is “fanciful,” but after speaking with individuals who claim direct knowledge—whistleblowers, government insiders, and experts—he’s convinced that a much darker, deeper reality lies beneath the surface.

“There’s a spiritual component there that I don’t fully understand,” Carlson admitted. “So yes, that story bothers me.”

And while some chalk up the lack of media attention to disinterest or conspiracy, Carlson points to both deliberate suppression and a public unwillingness to confront the unimaginable: “The implications are too profound,” he said.

He also didn’t mince words when it came to the government’s handling of the matter.

“Clearly, this is established… these are real, whatever they are, and they’re not human,” Carlson stated confidently. “And the government has known that for a long time—possibly going back to the 1930s at least.”

Carlson went on to suggest that there’s been a long-standing effort to keep Americans in the dark—allegedly to “protect” the public, but more likely to conceal truths that could expose a massive cover-up.

“You’re hiding a crime, which they are, in my opinion,” he said. “But… there is some stuff, if it is true… that is so radical that, yeah, we don’t want to tell the people we love most about it.”

Despite his usual fearlessness, Carlson admitted he’s reached the point where the information is so disturbing, he sometimes wishes he hadn’t heard it.

“I’ve heard things where I’m like, oh man, I don’t even really want to know that, honestly,” he added.

The discussion circled back repeatedly to UFOs, despite the podcast touching on multiple other topics—underscoring just how unsettled Carlson remains over what he’s learned. For someone who’s made a career exposing the dark underbelly of D.C. corruption and Big Tech overreach, this subject seems to have rattled him the most.
