Updated Report: Wray's FBI Ordered Other Intel Agencies to Destroy Report on Plot to Steal 2020 Election

FBI Director Kash Patel has handed over explosive agency documents to Congress detailing an alleged plot by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to infiltrate the 2020 election through a scheme involving fake driver’s licenses and fraudulent mail-in ballots.

According to Just The News, the bombshell documents had been initially compiled by U.S. intelligence officials in August 2020—months before the election—but were abruptly recalled with almost no explanation.

Patel, who now heads the FBI under President Donald J. Trump’s second term, announced Monday that the records were turned over to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA).

“The FBI has located documents which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election, including allegations of interference by the CCP,” Patel posted on X.

In an interview with Just The News, Patel confirmed the documents involved detailed allegations of Chinese operatives producing and shipping fake driver’s licenses into the U.S. to facilitate mail-in ballot fraud.

Shockingly, these warnings were not only ignored—they were actively scrubbed from circulation within the federal government. The excuse for the sudden withdrawal? The need to “re-interview” the source, according to the report.

The order went further. Patel revealed that officials were instructed to destroy all copies of the original report and erase it from all computer systems.

“Recipients should destroy all copies of the original report and remove the original report from all computer holdings,” the directive read.

This Orwellian-style purge occurred while U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized nearly 20,000 counterfeit driver’s licenses—many from China and Hong Kong—headed to critical Midwestern swing states, just as the 2020 election neared.

Subsequent months saw thousands more of these IDs intercepted at major U.S. airports, including repeated shipments through Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

Despite ample evidence, the FBI under Christopher Wray—who many conservatives believe acted more like a bureaucratic shield than a watchdog—refused to investigate further or alert the American public.

As Just The News reported, the bulletin contained enough actionable detail for federal agencies to launch immediate probes into foreign interference aimed at exploiting the chaos of widespread mail-in voting.

The implications are staggering.

Best-case scenario: the FBI completely fumbled one of the most critical intelligence leads in recent memory.
Worst-case scenario: the CCP tried to meddle in a U.S. presidential election, and the FBI helped cover it up.

Either way, the American people deserve answers—and with Kash Patel now in charge, those answers may finally come to light.
