Vice President J.D. Vance Silences Gavin Newsom After Desperate Cheap Shot at His Family

Vice President J.D. Vance once again proved why Democrats—especially those addicted to online theatrics—should think twice before trying to score cheap political points at his expense.

On Saturday, California Governor Gavin Newsom took to X with one of his trademark smirking jabs, attempting to shame Vance over immigration policy by targeting a private moment between the vice president and his family at Disneyland.

Sharing a 12-second video of the Vance family, Newsom smugly posted, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t.”

What Newsom didn’t count on was Vance’s ability to reply with surgical precision and a tone that exudes calm strength—something sorely lacking in the California governor’s frantic public persona.

“Had a great time, thanks,” Vance replied.

Five words. No anger. No theatrics. Just cool confidence—and it sent a clear message.

Meanwhile, reality came crashing down on Newsom’s virtue-signaling.

Just days earlier, federal immigration agents uncovered 10 illegal immigrant minors, including eight unaccompanied children, working at cannabis farms in Southern California—a brutal indictment of the very policies Newsom pretends to champion.

And users didn’t hesitate to remind him.

One commenter pointed out Newsom’s infamous hypocrisy during the COVID lockdowns:
“What’s wrong with you? I guess you forgot you were fine dining when you told us not to gather with families—you hypocrite!”

Despite a dismal record as governor—from skyrocketing crime to a mass exodus of businesses—Newsom remains a darling of the Democratic establishment. Corporate media continues to float his name as a potential 2028 presidential candidate, as if America hasn’t had enough of progressive elitists who can’t manage their own states.

It’s worth remembering that Newsom was utterly embarrassed during his 2023 debate with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. And earlier this year, during wildfires near Los Angeles, Newsom was caught on camera fleeing an angry citizen—pretending to be on the phone with then-President Biden.

In contrast, Vice President Vance has calmly and publicly dismantled a lineup of Democrat operatives—from Minnesota’s Tim Walz and California’s Ro Khanna to CBS’s Margaret Brennan. Each response from Vance has been methodical, confident, and grounded in principle—a reflection of the America First leadership style reshaping Washington under President Donald J. Trump.

If Newsom thought he could land a punch with performative outrage, he’s learning—just like the rest of his party—why J.D. Vance isn’t someone to trifle with.
