Video: Byron Donalds Reduces Rashida Tlaib to Weird Gibbering Chant Just by Asking Her What He, a Black Man, Looks Like

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) blasted Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) on Thursday after she smeared President Donald Trump’s crime-fighting efforts in Washington, D.C., as a “fascist takeover.”

During a heated House Oversight Committee hearing, Tlaib — a radical member of the so-called “Squad” — tried to frame Trump’s push to restore law and order in the nation’s capital as authoritarian.

Donalds, one of Trump’s strongest congressional allies, wasn’t having it.

“I think it’s insane that the gentlelady doesn’t have an argument, so she’s going to refer to me and some of my colleagues like we were from the Third Reich. This is insane,” Donalds said. “Do I look like a member of the Third Reich to you, Ms. Tlaib? Is that what I look like to you?”

Tlaib struggled to respond as Donalds kept pressing: “Is that what you think? I think it’s radical, and I think it’s insane … to say something like that to myself and my colleagues is way out of line.”

The exchange turned personal when Tlaib snapped, “You hold yourself accountable before you talk about Washington, D.C.! Keep Washington, D.C., out of your mouth!”

Donalds shot back, “Hold your own self accountable. How about that?”

Tlaib’s Dangerous Rhetoric

Donalds later warned that Tlaib’s “fascist” slur isn’t just childish name-calling — it’s dangerous.

On X, Donalds wrote:
“Rashida Tlaib had no point to make, so she called Republicans ‘FASCIST’ again. She used the exact same irresponsible rhetoric that inspired Tyler Robinson and was completely out-of-line. Enough is enough. We must set the record straight. We must call them out EVERY SINGLE TIME.”

The Florida Republican argued that Democrats’ constant smears fuel political violence, pointing directly to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk as proof of where such rhetoric leads.

Tlaib’s History of Ethical Scandals

It’s not the first time Tlaib has faced scrutiny. She has been the subject of two formal ethics probes in Congress. In 2020, she was ordered to repay her campaign after investigators determined she improperly accepted salary payments.

For all her grandstanding, Tlaib’s record shows a troubling pattern: siding with criminals while attacking those trying to protect law-abiding citizens.

Trump’s Crime Plan Has Bipartisan Support

Ironically, even some Democrats — including Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser — have acknowledged the need for stronger measures to restore order in the capital. Trump’s plan to crush crime has broad support among Americans fed up with chaos in their streets.

The choice is simple: law and order for hard-working citizens, or endless excuses for criminals. As Donalds made clear, conservatives are done allowing Democrats to hide behind baseless smears.
