White House Emails Reveal Autopen Trickery Behind Biden’s Death Row Commutations
The deeper investigators dig into Joe Biden’s final days in office, the more evidence surfaces of a presidency run by deception, manipulation, and bureaucrats willing to bend the truth for political expediency.
A new New York Post report exposes how Biden’s staff engaged in calculated “email trickery” to bypass safeguards surrounding his sweeping use of the autopen, this time involving his commutation of 37 federal death sentences.
A Presidency by Proxy
Already, Biden’s last-minute wave of pardons and commutations has been marred by revelations that he was barely aware of the identities of the offenders or the severity of their crimes. Many of these individuals were convicted killers, kidnappers, and gang leaders. But emails now show that his inner circle went even further — manufacturing an official record to make it appear as though Biden had personally approved decisions that staffers were orchestrating behind the scenes.
One email exchange, dated Dec. 20, 2024, shows Deputy White House Counsel Tyeesha Dixon and Associate Counsel Jared English scheming to secure White House Staff Secretary Stef Feldman’s approval to move forward with Biden’s commutations. Feldman insisted on written proof that Biden had authorized the action.
English admitted he drafted an email for their boss, White House Counsel Ed Siskel, to sign off on — claiming Biden had verbally approved the commutations. Dixon then suggested: “Can you write it in first person from Ed (Stef usually requires that) and include that the commutation is to life without release?”
The fabricated message, according to the Post, paved the way for Feldman to green-light Biden’s autopen signature. Just three days later, on Dec. 23, 2024, the commutations were officially announced.
The Illusion of Presidential Authority
The American public was shown a polished statement attributed to Biden, distributed by outlets like the Associated Press. Yet, as the Post revealed, the real decision-making was happening in the shadows, with staffers impersonating others in official records to manipulate the system.
The manipulation matters. Using “first person” narration in official correspondence suggests personal witness or direct involvement. But when lawyers deliberately crafted a letter pretending to be Ed Siskel, knowing Biden was out of the loop, it crossed the line from bureaucratic wordplay into outright fraud.
This was not simply sloppy recordkeeping — it was an intentional act to create a false official record for one of the most consequential decisions of Biden’s presidency.
A Pattern of Deception
This is not an isolated incident. A previous leak published by The New York Times in July already highlighted how detached Biden was from the pardon process. The newly uncovered emails reinforce a disturbing pattern: staffers constructing a shadow presidency, where decisions were executed through deception while Biden served as a figurehead.
If two tranches of damning documents have already emerged, it is only a matter of time before more evidence surfaces. Each release confirms what conservatives long suspected: Biden’s presidency was not a functioning executive administration, but a shell operation designed to protect a failing man and advance the Democratic Party’s agenda at any cost.
What this latest revelation demonstrates is something even graver: Biden’s lawyers weren’t just covering for him — they were willing to commit fraud on the official record of the United States government.
And for that, history will not forget.
