Breaking: Biden's FBI 'Spied' on GOP Senators' Phone, Location Data - Report
One of the darkest moments in U.S. political history has long been the Watergate scandal — the event that ultimately took down President Richard Nixon. But according to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the political abuse unfolding under President Joe Biden’s administration makes Watergate look mild by comparison.
The veteran Republican lawmaker’s warning comes on the heels of explosive revelations from Emmy award-winning investigative journalist Catherine Herridge, who has been one of the few mainstream journalists willing to expose what she calls “evidence of overreach and weaponization” inside the Biden-era FBI and Department of Justice.
In mid-September, Herridge took to X to reveal that whistleblower documents “reveal dozens of conservative organizations had their records subpoenaed [by the FBI] as part of its investigation into President Trump.” Among the targeted groups, she noted, was Turning Point USA, founded by the late Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated less than a week before Herridge posted her findings.

“Extraordinary scope reflects aggressive approach by Biden FBI and DOJ,” Herridge wrote. “Critics call it evidence of overreach and weaponization.”
Now, Herridge has followed up with even more damning information — this time revealing that the same whistleblower documents confirm the Biden administration directed the FBI to “spy” on eight Republican members of the U.S. Senate.
According to Herridge’s latest report, the surveillance was tied to the FBI’s so-called “Arctic Frost” investigation — a probe that later evolved into Special Counsel Jack Smith’s “elector case” against President Donald J. Trump.

FBI "Spied" on Eight GOP Senators

Grassley, one of the few lawmakers still pushing for transparency, did not mince words when he learned of the spying operation.
“This document shows the Biden FBI spied on 8 of my Republican Senate colleagues during its Arctic Frost investigation into ‘election conspiracy.’ Arctic Frost later became Jack Smith’s elector case against Trump,” Grassley posted to X on Monday.
I expected that countries like China and North Korea would go after me when I got to the Senate.

This is exactly the type of political weaponization of the federal government under Presidents Obama and Biden that Republicans and President Trump have been… pic.twitter.com/hzGtXnjngV
He concluded his post with a searing statement that echoed across conservative media:
“BIDEN FBI WEAPONIZATION = WORSE THAN WATERGATE.”

Even senators who weren’t directly spied on have condemned the FBI’s alleged actions as a stunning example of how partisan politics have corrupted once-trusted institutions. For decades, Democrats have accused Republicans of undermining democracy — but as these documents suggest, it may be the Biden administration itself that has crossed the constitutional line.
