BREAKING: Medical Incident At White House Disrupts Trump Press Conference

During a press event in the Oval Office on Friday, President Donald Trump was taking questions when an unexpected medical episode disrupted the proceedings, momentarily creating confusion.

“Everybody out, please move,” a White House staff member can be heard saying in a video after a young girl — identified as a relative of Dr. Mehmet Oz — suddenly collapsed, as reported by the New York Post.

“No photos!” the aide shouted at members of the media.

The episode unfolded as Dr. Oz was being officially sworn in as the new head of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. According to TMZ, the child was Oz’s 11-year-old granddaughter, Philomena. As the press was quickly ushered out, cameras caught a glimpse of Trump walking over to check on her condition.

“A minor family member fainted during Dr. Oz’s swearing in ceremony in the Oval Office,” the White House later clarified. “We are happy to say she is OK.”

Dr. Oz’s appointment wasn’t the only major staffing development announced this week.

On Thursday, Trump named several new figures to his Homeland Security Advisory Council, including Fox News personality Mark Levin and former contributor Bo Dietl.

“I am proud to announce the formation of my revamped Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), which is comprised of Top Experts in their field, who are highly respected by their peers,” Trump shared via Truth Social.

He continued: “It is a big honor to serve on HSAC, and I know the new Members, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, Mark Levin, Bo Dietl, and Joseph Gruters, will do an incredible job. Under Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem’s leadership, HSAC will work hard on developing new Policies and Strategies that will help us secure our Border, deport Illegal Criminal Thugs, stop the flow of Fentanyl and other illegal drugs that are killing our Citizens, and MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN. Congratulations to all!”

Levin, a Fox weekend host and nationally syndicated radio personality, reacted on social media, saying: “What an honor! Thank you, Mr. President!”

Despite his new advisory role, Levin won’t be stepping away from broadcasting anytime soon. In February, he signed a significant multi-year deal with Cumulus Media to continue his work on the air — and expand it.

The agreement ensures Levin remains part of the network for “multiple years” and includes the launch of his first-ever original podcast series, as detailed by the Washington Examiner.

“This has been my radio home for 23 years, and I am more excited than ever, especially during these tumultuous and historic times, to continue my relationship with my first-rate broadcast partners for many years to come,” Levin said in a statement.

Westwood One president and Cumulus Media executive vice president Collin Jones praised the broadcaster: “Mark is a powerful and influential voice with an incredible ability to establish strong relationships with his listeners while driving tremendous results for his advertising partners. Mark has been dubbed ‘The Great One’ for his ability to concisely break down the day’s most significant topics, and we are thrilled to grow our partnership with him for years to come.”

As the Examiner added, Levin “has been a must-listen for years.” A legal expert with roots in the Reagan Justice Department, Levin offers sharp, accessible commentary on key political and legal matters — from Trump’s legal challenges to controversies involving the Biden administration. He has also been a longtime critic of mainstream media, particularly highlighting efforts to obscure President Biden’s cognitive issues — something the media only began acknowledging after last Thursday’s presidential debate.

The Mark Levin Show broadcasts weeknights from 6 to 9 p.m., reaching nearly 400 radio stations across all 10 top U.S. metro markets and 21 of the top 25.
