FBI Director Kash Patel Terrifies Dems with Sudden Order

FBI Director Kash Patel announced a sweeping federal investigation into Antifa’s financial backers and donor networks, declaring that the bureau is “following the money” to dismantle every mechanism sustaining far-left militancy in the United States and abroad.

“We are following the money. Money never lies,” Patel said during a briefing alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. “And that’s what it’s going to take to bring down this network of organized criminal thugs, gang bangers, and yes, domestic terrorists — because that’s what they are.”

The coordinated probe, launched under President Donald J. Trump’s directive, marks an unprecedented campaign to expose and neutralize Antifa’s funding infrastructure — a network officials describe as a hybrid of domestic and international actors fueling organized political violence.

“They Will Not Be Able to Hide”

Patel said the FBI and Treasury Department are tracing the money trail through banks, shell organizations, and foreign conduits suspected of financing Antifa’s nationwide operations.

“We will not rest until we uncover every single source of funding, donor, organization, and financial support that exists,” Patel said. “They will not be able to hide. They were able to hide and conspire with prior administrations, and we are exposing their corruption from within.”

The effort will reportedly extend to every major U.S. city, targeting individuals and entities accused of providing material support for violent anarchist movements.

Trump’s Order: “Investigate, Disrupt, and Dismantle”

The announcement comes in the wake of President Trump’s September 22 White House directive officially designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. The order identifies the group as a “militarist, anarchist enterprise” that uses “illegal means, including violence and terrorism, to accomplish political goals.”

The directive mandates federal agencies to “investigate, disrupt, and dismantle” Antifa’s operations — with a special focus on identifying financial backers and foreign ties.

Trump said Antifa had organized armed standoffs with law enforcement, carried out violent assaults on ICE agents, and doxed officers and political opponents.

“Antifa’s efforts to advance political violence and suppress lawful political speech must be stopped,” the order states.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to law and order, Trump celebrated the move publicly:

“I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, a sick, dangerous, radical left disaster, as a major terrorist organization. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices.”

Purging Activism from the FBI

Patel’s financial crackdown coincides with his broader internal reform of the FBI, which he says had been “politically weaponized” under previous leadership.

He has already moved to terminate the bureau’s partnerships with activist-aligned organizations, beginning with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) — two groups that previously labeled Turning Point USA and its founder, the late Charlie Kirk, as “far-right.”

“James Comey disgraced the FBI by writing ‘love letters’ to the ADL and embedding agents with an extreme group functioning like a political organization,” Patel told Fox News Digital. “That was not law enforcement — it was activism dressed up as counterterrorism, and it put Americans in danger. That era is finished. This FBI formally rejects Comey’s policies and any partnership with the ADL.”

The ADL responded by expressing “deep respect for the FBI” while reaffirming its mission to fight antisemitism. Days later, Patel confirmed the FBI had also cut ties with the SPLC, signaling a sharp departure from years of ideological entanglement between the Bureau and left-wing nonprofits.

Justice for Charlie Kirk

The reforms follow the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was gunned down at a Utah campus event last month by a shooter reportedly inspired by Antifa slogans.

Patel cited the tragedy as a turning point in the administration’s resolve to root out politically motivated terrorism.

“We are restoring an FBI that serves the Constitution — not activist agendas,” Patel said. “We’re going after the financiers, the fixers, and the foreign actors behind domestic terror. The money trail leads to the truth — and the truth will lead to justice.”
