Four Migrants Escape After Democrats Stormed ICE Detention Facility
In yet another example of how Democrat mismanagement is undermining law and order, four illegal migrants escaped from the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, on Thursday night — after dozens of detainees reportedly rioted over food delays, tore down a wall, and fled into the city.
A senior Homeland Security official confirmed to Fox News that a disturbance broke out inside the facility, which is operated by the private contractor GEO Group, and that law enforcement is now scrambling to locate the fugitives. A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) has been issued for the escapees.
According to immigration attorney Mustafa Cetin, roughly 50 detainees became aggressive after meals were delayed, causing them to destroy a dormitory wall using makeshift tools like bedsheets. Cetin claimed one of his clients reported the wall “wasn’t very strong” and said there was a smell of gas during the chaos — raising serious concerns about the safety and security standards at this Democrat-enabled facility.

Rutgers professor Whitney Strub, who was outside the facility, said those nearby were coughing due to what he suspected was gas in the air — a potential result of the detainees’ actions.
PIX11 News later reported that escapees were spotted fleeing on foot near the New Jersey Turnpike, while left-wing demonstrators blocked law enforcement vehicles from exiting the detention center, interfering with efforts to restore order.
Despite the serious public safety threat, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka immediately pointed the finger at ICE and the federal government, blaming “withholding food and poor treatment” for the violence. He criticized what he called a “lack of oversight” and turned the incident into a political attack on private prisons and federal immigration enforcement.
“We demand immediate answers and clear communication with the GEO Group and the Department of Homeland Security,” Baraka said, failing to condemn the illegal behavior of the detainees or the criminal escape.
The riot and escape come just 48 hours after Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver was federally indicted for allegedly obstructing Homeland Security agents outside the very same facility during a politically charged “oversight visit” last month. McIver reportedly physically interfered with officers as they attempted to remove Baraka from the restricted area during a May 9 protest.
According to the Department of Justice, McIver not only resisted federal officers but slammed her forearm into one of them while seizing another — actions that carry up to 17 years in prison if convicted.

The same Democrats who claim to care about ‘justice’ and ‘oversight’ are actively undermining law enforcement, aiding fugitives, and making a mockery of immigration laws. Instead of backing our ICE officers, they’re enabling chaos — and endangering American communities in the process.
