Fox’s Bret Baier Sets Internet Ablaze With His Rendition Of ‘Rapper’s Delight’

In a rare moment of levity that quickly went viral, Fox News anchor Bret Baier stunned viewers and delighted social media on Saturday when a video surfaced of him rapping the classic 1979 Sugarhill Gang hit “Rapper’s Delight” — and pulling it off with style.

Wearing a button-down shirt and khakis, Baier took the stage and delivered a surprisingly polished rendition of the iconic track, adding his own twist to promote his nightly news program.

“Fox News Channel, you should watch, 6 pm, Special Report. It’s really good, very fair, very balanced, very fair,” Baier rapped.

The crowd went wild — and so did users on X (formerly Twitter), where the video quickly circulated.

“.@BretBaier should open every show like this,” one user wrote.
“Who knew that @BretBaier had game!! This is great,” another chimed in.

Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain and wife of conservative commentator Ben Domenech, joined in on the praise:

“I love this @BretBaier – I need you to teach Ben your ways.”

Even fellow conservatives were taken aback — in a good way.

“Here’s a video of Bret Baier rapping. Didn’t have this on my 2025 bingo card. He’s not bad actually,” said Shawn Farash.

Veteran Fox political analyst Brit Hume called him a "renaissance man," and political consultant Alex Castellanos added:

“That @BretBaier, he’s a baaad man. Is there anything he can’t do? Would like to see him interview @realDonaldTrump like this.”

One fan captured the moment’s upbeat spirit perfectly:

“Love this @BretBaier! The Golden Age of America should be fun!”

While Baier was lighting up the stage, another Fox News personality made headlines of a different sort.

Tyrus, co-host and former professional wrestler, took to Instagram with a raw and emotional message that concerned many of his followers.

In a post reflecting on his personal struggles, Tyrus opened up about the pain he caused his family despite his public success. He began by celebrating his weight loss milestone — down to 321 pounds — but admitted that he failed to deal with the real issues beneath the surface.

“I ignored the real dead weight, the pain and embarrassment I caused my family, my children, and worst of all, my best friend — my wife,” he wrote.
“If it’s (too) far gone to fix, it’s… it’s because of me and my poor choices,” he continued. “My wife did everything she could to keep me breathing — literally more than anyone else would… and here I am feeling great and never bothered to look at the wake of pain I caused my family.”

The post continued with deep gratitude to his wife, Ingrid, and a heartfelt apology.

“Ingrid, I can never thank you enough for the last 15 (years)... I will always owe you for standing by me … I was just (too) insecure to want to share it.”

Tyrus emphasized that he is not leaving his wife — but acknowledged that she has “earned the right to leave” if she chooses.

“To my daughter: this is not how a real man treats his wife, and I have to be a better father, better man… I wouldn’t be the man you support,” he concluded.

Tyrus has built a loyal audience with his no-nonsense commentary and unapologetic conservative takes — and it appears he’s now applying that same honesty to his personal life.

As Americans face a culture increasingly driven by superficiality and victimhood, it’s refreshing to see high-profile conservatives like Baier and Tyrus showing both strength and humility in their own ways — whether that’s rapping about Special Report or owning up to personal failings and striving to be better.
