Trump Planning To Add Grand Ballroom To White House

President Donald J. Trump is once again bringing his signature vision, bold leadership, and private-sector expertise to the White House—this time in the form of a stunning new addition that past administrations only dreamed of.

On Friday, President Trump announced plans to build a long-awaited and much-requested grand ballroom at the White House—a project he will fund personally, at no cost to the American taxpayer.

“Just inspected the site of the new Ballroom that will be built, compliments of a man known as Donald J. Trump, at the White House,” the president posted to Truth Social. “For 150 years, Presidents, and many others, have wanted a beautiful Ballroom, but it never got built because nobody previously had any knowledge or experience in doing such things — But I do, like maybe nobody else, and it will go up quickly, and be a wonderful addition, very much in keeping with the magnificent White House itself.”
“These are the ‘fun’ projects I do while thinking about the World Economy, the United States, China, Russia, and lots of other Countries, places, and events. It will all be good, maybe even GREAT, depending on who is the President of the U.S.A.!”

President Trump first floated the idea back in February during the signing of his “No Men in Women’s Sports” executive order—a landmark policy move restoring fairness and reality to federal athletic standards.

“This room is packed. You know, I offered to build a ballroom. I’m very good at building ballrooms. I build beautiful ballrooms, and I actually offered to build a ballroom for the White House. I was going to build it right there,” he said.
“I was going to build a beautiful, beautiful ballroom like I have at Mar-a-Lago, as beautiful as it can be. It was going to cost about a hundred million dollars. I offered to do it, and I never heard back,” Trump added, referring to his earlier proposal to the Biden administration. “So, I’m going to try and make the offer to myself, you know, because we could use a bigger room.”

According to the president, he had previously offered to build a similar ballroom during the Obama administration, but was ignored then as well.

“It would cost nothing,” Trump stated. “I’ll spend the whole thing myself.”

The announcement comes amid a moment of renewed energy and pride in the Trump White House. Just days earlier, President Trump hosted one of the largest gatherings ever held on the South Lawn—welcoming thousands of current and former administration officials, agency heads, Cabinet members, and their families to celebrate the administration’s return to power and mission to restore American greatness.

“This is his team. These are his people,” one senior official told Fox News Digital. “These are individuals who are hand-selected by the president to work in the administration, delivering on the historic mandate that he received in November.”

And that team is working at record pace. According to Sergio Gor, Director of Presidential Personnel, the Trump administration has already filled 91% of all political appointments across the federal government in less than five months.

“President Trump’s Office of Presidential Personnel is breaking hiring records at an unprecedented pace,” Gor told Fox News Digital. “Each political appointee in the Trump administration is unwavering in their commitment to this president and his goal to make America great again.”

To date, over 3,200 appointees have been placed in key roles since Trump’s second term began on January 20. Hiring is already 100% complete at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 90% complete at the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, and Homeland Security, and 85% complete across Defense, Commerce, and Treasury.

President Trump’s commitment to excellence, service, and style is unmistakable—and now, the people’s house is about to reflect that more than ever before.
