Gabbard Says ‘Russiagate’ Whistleblowers Lining Up To Speak Out
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard confirmed Sunday that whistleblowers are emerging in the wake of newly released documents and a bombshell memo exposing what she describes as a “years-long coup” against President Donald Trump, orchestrated at the highest levels of the Obama administration.
Gabbard, speaking with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures, revealed that individuals within the intelligence community are stepping forward, appalled by what they witnessed in the aftermath of Trump’s 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton.
“We have whistleblowers … coming forward now, after we released these documents because there are people who were around, who were working within the intelligence community who [are] so disgusted by what happened,” Gabbard said. “They, too, like you and I and the American people, want to see justice delivered.”

Gabbard did not mince words in her interview, saying the actions taken by senior officials after the 2016 election amounted to treason.
“There must be indictments,” she stated firmly. “Those responsible, no matter how powerful they are or were at that time … they all must be held accountable.”

Gabbard’s comments come as many conservatives continue to question why Special Counsel John Durham failed to uncover these materials during his years-long investigation. While Durham did secure a guilty plea from former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith—who admitted to falsifying a FISA warrant application targeting Trump adviser Carter Page—the punishment amounted to mere probation and community service, a far cry from the potential 5 to 10-year prison sentence allowed under federal guidelines.
Clinesmith’s forgery helped justify the FBI’s surveillance of Trump’s campaign, based largely on the now-debunked Steele Dossier, which Durham confirmed the Bureau “did not and could not corroborate.”
Gabbard took aim at the failures of previous investigations: “I question the same things that you’re asking here,” she told Bartiromo. “I don’t know what excuse there is for those who supposedly investigated this previously, whether it was Durham or others, that they were not able to put together the dots and ultimately show the truth to the American people.”
The Steele Dossier, a salacious and unverified document used to trigger the Russia collusion hoax, was bankrolled by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. In 2022, both entities were fined $113,000 by the Federal Election Commission for misreporting the funding behind the dossier’s creation.
Gabbard called the conspiracy a blatant example of the deep state in action—an entrenched group of bureaucrats and intelligence officials who attempted to subvert the will of the American people and nullify a democratic election.

Now, as new evidence continues to surface, the ball is in the Justice Department’s court—and the American people are watching.
