Hillary Clinton Turns Heads With Latest Trump Remark

In a rare moment of bipartisan acknowledgment, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton offered unexpected praise for President Donald J. Trump and his administration, commending their leadership in securing a landmark Gaza peace agreement that could finally end years of bloodshed in the region.

“I really commend President Trump and his administration,” Clinton told CBS News 24/7 on Friday. “As well as Arab leaders in the region, for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what’s often called the day after.”

Her remarks followed a historic announcement that Hamas had agreed to President Trump’s peace proposal, marking a potential end to the two-year Gaza conflict. The agreement — hailed by both Israeli and Palestinian civilians — calls for:

  • The release of 48 remaining Israeli hostages as soon as Monday,
  • A phased withdrawal of Israeli forces,
  • The complete disarmament of Hamas, and
  • The formation of a transitional international governing body to oversee Gaza’s administration.

The plan also recognizes the “aspiration” of Gaza’s residents for an independent Palestinian state, though final details remain under review.

Clinton, who once championed a two-state solution under the Obama administration, urged the Trump White House to ensure strict adherence to the peace terms while calling for international oversight.

“Let’s now support this process and bring it together, not just in a nonpartisan way in our own country, but literally internationally as a great global commitment to try to bring peace, security, stability and a better future to the Middle East,” Clinton said, as reported by the New York Post.

She also applauded what she described as the Trump administration’s “shrewd” diplomacy — particularly in bringing Israel back to the negotiating table following Israeli airstrikes that briefly derailed peace talks in Qatar last month.

“That provided an opening for both President Trump and his representatives to marshal all of the regional powers, including, of course, Qatar, but also to make it clear to Israel, ‘No, this is now enough. We cannot continue this. This conflict needs to end, and we’ve got to move on,’” Clinton noted.

Clinton’s acknowledgment of Trump’s diplomatic success has raised eyebrows within her own party — but she’s not alone.

Former Biden National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan reluctantly credited President Trump for brokering the breakthrough.

“It’s only now, after all that time, that we have gotten to a deal,” he said — notably avoiding any comparison to the Biden administration’s inaction.

Even Barack Obama chimed in on X (formerly Twitter), praising the peace deal but conspicuously failing to mention President Trump by name.

Meanwhile, a separate development this week revealed new details from the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation — the infamous probe into supposed Trump-Russia collusion.

A newly declassified memo, released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, concluded that Russia did not play a significant role in President Trump’s 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton — directly contradicting years of Democrat and media narratives.

According to RealClear Investigations reporter Paul Sperry, internal communications suggest Obama administration officials coordinated directly with the Clinton campaign to promote the now-debunked collusion theory.

“DEVELOPING: I’m told there are texts/emails indicating Hillary Clinton campaign aides directly coordinated with the Obama White House, NSC, State Dept and Intelligence Community officials in efforts to dig up dirt tying Donald Trump to Vladimir Putin in July 2016 …developing…” Sperry reported.

Between the collapse of the Russia-collusion narrative and Democrats now praising President Trump’s Middle East diplomacy, it’s clear that political winds are shifting — and that Trump’s leadership on the global stage is impossible to ignore.
