Kash Patel Sounds the Alarm as SWAT Teams Keep Appearing at Innocent Conservatives' Homes

Kash Patel is raising the alarm over a troubling trend of "swatting" incidents targeting well-known conservatives, vowing that the FBI will take decisive action.
In a statement posted on X this past Friday, Patel emphasized that the FBI is "fully committed to working with local law enforcement" to investigate these crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Conservatives on social media, particularly those who have been targeted, welcomed the FBI’s involvement in addressing the issue.
"Swatting" refers to a form of criminal harassment where false reports of emergencies or crimes in progress are made to law enforcement, prompting an urgent and often dangerous police response to the victim’s home.
Reports from The National Desk indicate that several conservative figures have recently fallen victim to this tactic.
“Social media influencer Gunther Eagleman, radio host Joe Pagliarulo, and Infowars’ Chase Geiser each claimed to be among a slew of figures who were victims of false swatting calls this week,” the outlet reported.
“Also reporting swatting incidents were commentators Shawn Farash, Nick Sortor and parody account Catturd.”
Fox News highlighted that Sortor’s case was particularly alarming. The caller, pretending to be Sortor, contacted his father and claimed he was in the process of killing the "entire family," prompting an urgent police response.
“This is nothing short of attempted murder. They wanted the police to kill my father,” Sortor stated.
In light of these incidents, Patel reassured the public that the FBI is taking steps to combat the issue.
“I want to address the alarming rise in ‘Swatting’ incidents targeting media figures,” Patel posted on X.
“The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable.
“This isn’t about politics — weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers,” Patel added.
“That will not be tolerated. We are fully committed to working with local law enforcement to crack down on these crimes.”

This is not an issue that should be divided along political lines. Falsely dispatching emergency responders under the pretense of an ongoing crisis is, at minimum, a waste of resources—and at worst, a direct threat to human lives.
However, this problem has been growing since 2016, when Trump’s election victory led some on the left to adopt extreme tactics in the name of resistance.
When they couldn't win at the ballot box, certain radical anti-Trump elements resorted to endangering lives simply over political disagreements. One can only hope the FBI swiftly tracks down those responsible and ensures they face the full consequences of their reckless actions.
