Kirk Assassination Police Audio Leaks, Contains First Full Description of Suspected Killer Along With Exact Location
Newly released audio from first responders at the scene of Charlie Kirk’s assassination is raising serious questions about how the gunman managed to escape despite police having a clear description almost immediately after the fatal shot was fired.
Kirk, just 31 years old, was gunned down Wednesday afternoon during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. The shooting occurred during the question-and-answer portion of his appearance, stunning students and supporters alike.
Scanner audio, published by the Washington Examiner and other outlets, reveals that officers on the ground knew the shooter carried a “long rifle” and had a detailed description of his clothing in the chaotic moments following the attack.
“Be advised, [Utah Valley University] at Orem has had an active shooter at the Charlie Kirk event,” one dispatcher can be heard saying. “We’re getting several calls. We’re trying to get more information … We’re just trying to get units that way.”
Responders described the suspect as wearing jeans, a black shirt, a black mask, and carrying a long rifle. Another officer noted a “blue Honda Odyssey” without license plates as a possible getaway vehicle.
Yet, despite the precise details, confusion was evident over the radio feed. One officer instructed another unit “do not respond … at this point. There is law enforcement on scene.” Others sought clarity on whether there were additional victims. Ultimately, the reports confirmed Kirk was the only person shot.
Authorities also received word that the suspect may have been spotted on top of a building near the campus library, but no capture followed. Two individuals were briefly detained, including one at the scene, but both were released. Kirk succumbed to his wounds at the hospital.
The immediate question facing law enforcement is clear: why was the assassin not apprehended when officers already had such a strong description? And if he was able to evade police so effectively, was this truly the work of a lone wolf — or something more coordinated?
According to a live feed of the Utah County police scanner at the time of the Charlie Kirk shooting, an individual was spotted with a "long rifle" wearing jeans, a black shirt, a black mask, and a black vest.

Former FBI agent Stuart Kaplan, speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters, strongly suggested the latter.
“This was a very well-planned, very well-orchestrated plot that was put in motion days before. This individual had a plan of escape,” Kaplan said. “This assassination is indicative of a professional hit.”

For conservatives, the new revelations underscore a disturbing possibility: either authorities fumbled a chance to catch a dangerous killer in real time, or America just witnessed the execution of a carefully plotted, professional-style political assassination.
What is certain is that Kirk’s death has left a gaping wound in the conservative movement — and unanswered questions about who is responsible and how much further this violence could go if not swiftly stopped.
