Manhunt Underway: AG Bondi Confirms That FBI Has Identified Rock-Throwing Cali Rioter
The FBI has launched a full-scale manhunt for Elpidio Reyna, a 40-year-old man from Compton, California, accused of launching a violent assault on federal officers during a riot in Paramount, CA, over the weekend. The incident unfolded as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents carried out operations to detain illegal immigrants in the Los Angeles area—an effort that sparked left-wing chaos and violent resistance.
One federal officer was injured in the attack, prompting President Donald J. Trump’s administration to deploy U.S. Marines to assist in securing ICE personnel and restoring law and order in the riot-torn streets of L.A.

“Elpidio Reyna can run, but he can’t hide,” said Bill Essayli, U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), as he shared a $50,000 reward for information leading to Reyna’s arrest and conviction.
Reyna is charged with assaulting a federal officer, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of eight years in federal prison. The suspect—who appeared in footage wearing a motorcycle helmet, sunglasses, and a hat—was captured on video hurling cinder block fragments at officers as they exited a command post.
“The guy was breaking up the cinder blocks and he was throwing them,” confirmed Attorney General Pam Bondi in a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity. “Look at it out there: It looks like a Third World country and it’s not. It’s the United States of America. We are not standing for it.”
WANTED: Elpidio Reyna can run, but he can’t hide. The FBI released images of the masked suspect and is actively working leads. Authorities emphasized the premeditated nature of the attack, calling it a “brazen assault” that could have resulted in deaths. Bondi confirmed there are nine ongoing investigations tied to recent attacks on federal officers—and that number is likely to grow.
“So, you can run, you can’t hide. We are coming after you federally,” Bondi declared. “If you assault a police officer, if you rob a store, if you loot, if you spit on police officers, we’re coming after you.”
She invoked President Trump’s message to criminals and rioters: “You spit, we hit.” Bondi reaffirmed that any attack on federal law enforcement will be treated as a federal offense, carrying up to five years in prison for spitting alone.
Just so we are clear, this FBI needs no one’s permission to enforce the constitution. My responsibility is to the American people, not political punch lines. LA is under siege by marauding criminals, and we will restore law and order. I’m not asking you, I’m telling you.

View PlansAs lawlessness spikes in Democrat-run cities, President Trump’s administration is reaffirming that law and order will be upheld nationwide. ICE agents—now operating under Marine protection in California—continue their mission to enforce immigration law despite violent resistance.
The message from the Trump Justice Department is crystal clear: attacks on law enforcement will not be tolerated, and criminals will be pursued relentlessly.
