MTG Says Trump Backs Her Redrawing Districts To Exclude Non-Citizens

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has introduced a bold new bill that has quickly earned the support of President Donald J. Trump — a proposal aimed at restoring integrity to America’s elections by demanding a new U.S. census that counts only American citizens.

In a post on X, Greene announced the President’s enthusiastic backing, writing, “I just got off the phone with President Trump!! I told him about my new bill I am introducing that will save America’s elections from ever being stolen again! My bill will require the U.S. Census Bureau to conduct a new census immediately upon enactment of the bill. In conducting the new census of the U.S. population, it shall require questions determining the citizenship of each individual, and count US citizens only.”

The legislation seeks to direct states to begin an immediate redistricting process for U.S. House seats based solely on the number of citizens — not non-citizens, illegal aliens, or temporary residents.

“Thank you President Trump for your strong support of my bill, Making American Elections Great Again!!! Let’s get this done!!!” Greene added.

Currently, the next census isn’t scheduled until 2030, with redistricting planned for 2031. Greene’s legislation would fast-track the process to cut out inflated representation driven by sanctuary states with large illegal immigrant populations.

The effort follows a stalled 2024 House bill with similar goals — which passed the Republican-led House but was blocked by Senate Democrats. That bill, like Greene’s, aimed to reverse a long-standing interpretation of the Constitution that has allowed non-citizens to be counted for congressional apportionment. That interpretation, rooted in historical compromises, has long been criticized for distorting the true voice of the American citizen.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), a strong backer of the measure, said, “Some states end up with greater representation in Congress based on a higher concentration of noncitizens. This dilutes the ‘one person, one vote’ principle for citizens in states with fewer noncitizens. It is clear that Congress can and should ensure a fair apportionment based on equal representation of citizens.”

In a further show of law-and-order strength, the GOP-led House also passed the Detain and Deport Illegal Aliens Who Assault Cops Act, authored by Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ). The commonsense legislation mandates deportation for any illegal alien who assaults a police officer and ensures they remain in custody until removal.

“There is no reason that an illegal alien who attacks our law enforcement should remain in our country,” Van Drew said. “That shows zero respect for our rule of law or our institutions, and they will not be positive contributors to society.”

The bill passed with bipartisan support — 54 Democrats crossed the aisle to back it — but drew heavy resistance from the radical left. Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN), the House Majority Whip, did not mince words: “House Democrats just voted to protect violent, illegal immigrants over our brave law enforcement officers. Once again, the Democrat Party proves they are the most anti-law enforcement party in history.”

Meanwhile, the Democrat narrative on the economy is unraveling.

In a rare moment of honesty on CNN, polling analyst Harry Enten appeared stunned by new numbers showing Democrats trailing Republicans on economic issues — even after months of fear-mongering over President Trump’s tariff plans.

“You would think, after all of the waves... that you’d expect that Democrats would have this massive lead on the economy,” Enten admitted. “It ain’t so. It ain’t so.”

The American people aren’t buying the left’s propaganda — they’re turning to the only leader who’s ever delivered a booming economy, secured the border, and put citizens first: President Donald J. Trump.
