The tragic events of Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton serve as a grim reminder: when the radical Left weaponizes baseless smears for political gain, the consequences are often measured in violence. Cole Tomas Allen, the individual who allegedly opened fire in a heinous assassination attempt against President Donald Trump and top administration officials, appears to be the latest product of a relentless Democrat disinformation campaign designed to unhinge the American public.
On Sunday, authorities released Allen’s alleged manifesto, a document steeped in the venomous language of the far-left. In it, Allen labeled the President a “pedophile, rapist, and traitor.”
“I am a citizen of the United States of America,” Allen wrote. “What my representatives do reflects on me. And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”
If authentic, the manifesto confirms that Allen’s psyche was poisoned by an insidious conspiracy theory peddled by the President’s enemies. This narrative falsely suggests that President Trump pressured his Department of Justice to suppress files related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to hide personal involvement.
The Failure of Transparency and the Vacuum of Truth
While the Left’s rhetoric is inexcusable, the administration’s handling of the Epstein files has left a vacuum that bad actors are eager to fill. The President and his inner circle have frequently signaled a desire to move past the Epstein saga, sometimes appearing defensive or agitated when pressed on the matter.
This reticence persists despite the fact that a significant portion of the American electorate—including many within the President's own base—rightly suspect that Epstein operated a sophisticated blackmail ring targeting the global elite. Serious questions remain, such as the bizarre 2018 text exchange between Epstein and his urologist, Dr. Harry Fisch. After refilling a prescription for Epstein, Fisch messaged:
“After you use them, wash your hands and lets go get pizza and grape soda.”
The public deserves to know why the files are littered with such coded references and why grown men in positions of power spoke in such a suspicious manner. By failing to lead on total transparency, the administration has inadvertently allowed the Epstein issue to dog its second term.
Democrat Hypocrisy and the Cultivation of Crisis

If those files contained a single shred of evidence implicating President Trump, does any sane observer believe the Biden DOJ would have kept them secret? Of course not. They would have leaked them to every major news outlet within hours.
The Democrats only weaponized the Epstein files when it became politically advantageous to do so. Their sudden "concern" for the victims of sex trafficking rings hollow coming from a party that actively champions the genital mutilation of minors under the guise of "gender-affirming care."
The Cost of Bloodthirsty Rhetoric
The Democratic leadership is fully aware of the mental health crisis currently gripping its most radical activists. They know their base has become increasingly bloodthirsty in the era of the Trump restoration. Yet, they continue to hurl baseless accusations of the most heinous nature, encouraging unhinged voters to view the President not as a political opponent, but as a moral monster.
