Scott Jennings Predicts ‘Nuclear Bomb’ Revelation Will Devastate Democrats in Coming Days

With President Donald Trump commanding the national stage once again and Democrats still reeling from electoral defeats, the long-running charade around Joe Biden’s cognitive decline appears to be crumbling fast—and one major CNN analyst is predicting an explosion that could leave the Democratic Party in ruins.

Scott Jennings, a conservative commentator on CNN, warned Thursday night that an upcoming exposé on Biden’s mental deterioration—paired with his latest disastrous media appearances—could deal a fatal political blow to the left.

“Watching him over the last few days reminded me that a whole bunch of people were telling us with a straight face that this man was capable of serving another four years as president,” Jennings said during an appearance on CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip, as posted on X.

Jennings referred to Biden’s calamitous appearance earlier that day on The View, where the former president stumbled so badly over a question about his mental health that his wife, Jill Biden, had to step in and answer for him. And that wasn’t the only red flag—Biden also delivered incoherent responses in an interview with the BBC that aired Wednesday.

But the real political detonation, Jennings said, may come next week with the release of a new book by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson. Titled Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, the book is expected to lay bare how top Democrats and media allies covered up Biden’s incapacity in order to push him through a 2024 campaign he never should have entered.

“Coupled with what I understand is going to be the equivalent of a nuclear bomb dropped on the Democratic Party when Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s book comes out next week,” Jennings added. “I don’t know that the Democrats have fully internalized what’s about to happen to them.”

“Between what he looks like today and what they’re about to report, get ready,” he warned.

Democrats and corporate media outlets have spent years insisting Biden was mentally fit for office—even as video after video showed him struggling to finish sentences, wandering offstage, and losing track of basic facts. The American public didn’t buy it then, and they certainly aren’t buying it now.

According to Politico, Biden is now scrambling to rehabilitate his image. In a clear sign of panic, the former president has brought in his former Pentagon spokesman and deputy press secretary Chris Meagher to manage media damage control ahead of the book’s release.

But for many observers, including Jennings, the damage is already done.

Biden’s bumbling answers on The View—especially his bizarre take on Kamala Harris’ crushing 2024 defeat, which he chalked up to “sexism”—only further highlight the disconnection between the Democrat leadership and reality.

It’s a disgrace that should never have happened. And if reports about the upcoming book are accurate, the Democratic elite and their media allies are about to be exposed for knowingly pushing an unfit man into the presidency for their own political gain.

The American people were lied to, and the consequences—both domestic and international—have been devastating. As President Trump leads with strength and clarity into his second term, the Democrats are now facing the reckoning they so richly deserve.
