SEE IT: Melania Releases Trailer For New Film Set To Hit Theaters in Jan.

First Lady Melania Trump has given Fox News an exclusive first look at her upcoming feature film, MELANIA, a cinematic project set for a global theatrical release next month that promises an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes account of a pivotal moment in American history.

The 104-minute film is scheduled to debut worldwide on January 30, 2026, with screenings planned across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and additional international markets. An accompanying documentary series is also expected to be released by Amazon in the months ahead.

“History is set in motion during the 20 days of my life prior to the U.S. Presidential Inauguration,” the first lady told Fox News. “For the first time, global audiences are invited into theaters to witness this pivotal chapter unfold—a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy on my remarkable journey to becoming First Lady of the United States of America.”

The trailer opens inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda as Mrs. Trump arrives ahead of President Donald J. Trump’s second inauguration. Wearing her inaugural attire, she looks directly into the camera and remarks, “Here we go again.”

From there, the preview weaves together scenes of the inauguration, intimate moments with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, and behind-the-scenes footage that includes their son Baron Trump and Mrs. Trump’s father. Visuals of Air Force One, the presidential seal, and the first lady in motion are intercut throughout, culminating in the iconic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lion roaring across the screen.

In one sequence, President Trump is shown rehearsing a speech at a podium when Mrs. Trump enters the room.

“My proudest legacy will be that of peacemaker,” the president says.

“Peacemaker and unifier,” the first lady responds.

The trailer continues with shots of Mrs. Trump stepping from a vehicle in black stiletto boots, transitioning into scenes from the East Wing residence. She appears in a white-and-black inaugural ball gown, smiling confidently at the camera as the screen invites viewers to “witness history in the making.”

Additional footage shows the first lady reviewing documents with staff and participating in candid, behind-the-scenes moments. At one point, she is heard asking a member of her security detail, “is it safe?” before the agent reassures her, “it is safe.” The scene cuts to flashing sirens and the presidential motorcade moving through a city.

“20 days to become first lady of the United States,” the trailer reads. “Everyone wants to know,” Melania says. “So here it is.”

The preview concludes with Mrs. Trump calling out, “Mr. President,” to offer her congratulations.

“Did you watch it?” President Trump asks over the phone.

“I did not. Yeah, I will see it on the news,” the first lady replies.

Mrs. Trump said the project was driven by the historical significance of the moment and her desire to present it with seriousness and artistic integrity.

“The story has never been told, and because the subject matter is historically consequential, it was imperative for me to produce a film of the highest cinematic standard, suitable exclusively in theaters worldwide,” she said.

“The 20 days of my life, preceding the U.S. Presidential inauguration, constitutes a rare and defining moment—one that warrants meticulous care, integrity, and uncompromising craftsmanship,” she added. “I am proud to share this very specific moment of my life—20 days of intense transition and planning—with moviegoers and fans across the globe.”

According to Fox News Digital, the first lady was deeply involved in every stage of the project, including creative direction, producing, and post-production marketing, taking a hands-on role throughout the film’s development.

“She is giving the audience unprecedented access to her life — and to any first lady’s life — during this 20-day period,” a source familiar with the film’s planning told the outlet.

Fox also reported that Marc Beckman, Mrs. Trump’s agent and exclusive senior advisor, led negotiations with Amazon on her behalf, working directly with CEO Andy Jassy beginning November 18, 2024.

With MELANIA, the first lady is offering a rare, cinematic window into the personal, political, and historical moments surrounding President Trump’s return to the White House—on her own terms.
