Tlaib Melts Down Worse Than Iran's Nuclear Sites Over Trump-Approved US Bombing

As President Donald J. Trump commanded the destruction of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure Saturday night, most Americans—including many Democrats—stood behind the mission that neutralized a looming nuclear threat from the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism.

But one loud and predictably unhinged voice stood apart: Michigan Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

The far-left congresswoman—best known as a founding member of the radical “Squad” and for her long history of anti-Semitic rhetoric—used the solemn announcement of a high-stakes military operation to launch into a vulgar tirade on social media.

Posting from her personal X account, Tlaib sneered, “so f**king sick” in response to what she characterized as bipartisan unity over the mission. Her comment was made in reaction to a repost by civil rights lawyer Arjun Sethi, who wrote, “Nothing unites U.S. elites & politicians more than war – especially against Muslims in the Middle East.” Tlaib, who is Muslim, gleefully amplified the divisive sentiment.

While her official congressional account posted a more sanitized version of opposition, it was her personal meltdown that exposed her true allegiances—and priorities.

President Trump had earlier announced the military operation in a post on Truth Social:

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this.”

“NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

The precision strikes marked the culmination of escalating tensions following Iran’s aggression in the region and its unrelenting pursuit of nuclear capabilities. But instead of praising America’s military might—or even remaining silent—Tlaib decided to side with the regime that’s been chanting “Death to America” for decades.

Tlaib even attempted to forge a bipartisan criticism by amplifying comments from libertarian-leaning Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, who said the mission was “not Constitutional.” But while Massie’s isolationism may be ideologically consistent, Tlaib’s rhetoric is consistently disturbing.

It’s no surprise she also reposted content from The Intercept, a publication that routinely defends Hamas and sympathizes with Iran’s mullahs. Her online spree on Saturday was less a coherent foreign policy position and more a political tantrum, betraying yet again her anti-American, anti-Israel worldview.

In today’s climate, if a conservative—say, Tucker Carlson or Rep. Massie—had said the same things, they’d be tarred as anti-Semites by the media establishment. But Tlaib, who routinely traffics in coded and not-so-coded bigotry, gets a pass.

Let’s be clear: Iran is a rogue regime that has openly declared its intent to annihilate Israel, oppress its own people, especially women and religious minorities, and wage terror across the globe. But because Iran also hates America, that’s apparently enough for Tlaib to cheer for it from the sidelines.

Her brand of radicalism has never been about peace or justice—it’s about tearing down the very country she took an oath to serve. She doesn’t hesitate to align herself with regimes that brutalize their own citizens if it means scoring points against the United States.

Democrats often invoke Maya Angelou’s line: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them.” Rashida Tlaib has shown us, again and again, exactly who she is.
