Trump Goes NUCLEAR After Vicious Attack On ICE Agents – Makes BOLD Move
President Donald J. Trump has ordered the mobilization of the National Guard to restore law and order in Los Angeles after two straight days of violent, left-wing riots aimed at federal immigration agents — chaos widely seen as fueled by Democratic leadership in California.
As videos flooded social media Saturday night showing anarchists ambushing ICE and Border Patrol vehicles during deportation operations, the White House took swift action.
“If Governor Gavin Newscum, of California, and Mayor Karen Bass, of Los Angeles, can’t do their jobs, which everyone knows they can’t, then the Federal Government will step in and solve the problem, RIOTS & LOOTERS, the way it should be solved!!!” President Trump posted to Truth Social.

View PlansThe riots, which included arson, assaults on federal agents, and coordinated street blockades, erupted following arrests of illegal aliens across several neighborhoods. According to U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks, ICE agents were forced to use tear gas during an operation near a Home Depot in Paramount, California, where protesters clashed violently with law enforcement.
“Great job by the National Guard in Los Angeles after two days of violence, clashes and unrest,” President Trump wrote in a follow-up post Sunday. “We have an incompetent Governor (Newscum) and Mayor (Bass)… unable to handle the task.”
“These Radical Left protests, by instigators and often paid troublemakers, will NOT BE TOLERATED. Also, from now on, MASKS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to be worn at protests. What do these people have to hide, and why???”
Trump’s firm response came after Governor Gavin Newsom failed to address the riots publicly for more than 48 hours. Instead of restoring order, Newsom lashed out at the administration for federalizing elements of the California National Guard.
“The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers. That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions,” Newsom posted on X, ignoring the fact that federal law enforcement officers had already been injured in violent attacks.
In a separate post, Newsom accused the Trump administration of seeking “a spectacle” and encouraged left-wing demonstrators to avoid violence — after days of them committing it unchecked.
“The federal government is taking over the California National Guard and deploying 2,000 soldiers in Los Angeles — not because there is a shortage of law enforcement, but because they want a spectacle,” Newsom wrote. “Don’t give them one. Never use violence. Speak out peacefully.”
Critics slammed the governor for failing to act while federal agents were under siege.
“Illegal criminal aliens and violent mobs have been committing arson, throwing rocks at vehicles, and attacking federal law enforcement for days,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. “Gavin Newsom has done nothing to stop this violence. He should be thanking President Trump for bringing law and order to California — a basic value that Newsom and his fellow Democrats have failed to uphold.”
The breakdown of order in Los Angeles reached a tipping point Saturday when ICE and Border Patrol officers were attacked during enforcement actions. In one viral video, a rock was thrown through the windshield of an ICE vehicle, injuring the agent inside.
