Trump Has Ominous Response For Iranian Leader Who Refuses Surrender

President Donald J. Trump issued a curt but chilling response Thursday after being asked how he would handle Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s defiance on ending Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

“What do you say to the supreme leader of Iran, who says that they will not surrender?” a reporter asked.

“I say good luck,” Trump shot back.

WATCH:

Later that day, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed that the president is weighing all options, including a possible military strike on Iran’s Fordow Nuclear Enrichment Center — a fortified underground facility deeply buried beneath a mountain.

“We’re not ruling anything out,” Leavitt said during the briefing. “President Trump has not yet made a final decision on deploying bunker-buster bombs to Fordow. He is allowing approximately two more weeks to permit possible negotiations.”

Reading directly from a prepared statement by the president, Leavitt quoted:

“On the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.”

Despite reports of Iranian aggression and continued enrichment activity, the Islamic Republic has quietly floated the idea of a direct meeting with the Trump administration. According to the president, Iran is even prepared to send a delegation to the White House.

This apparent about-face comes amid mounting Israeli pressure for joint U.S.-Israeli military action.

As the Israeli Defense Forces target nuclear and military assets inside Iran, Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter emphasized that dismantling Fordow is non-negotiable.

“The entire operation… really has to be completed with the elimination of Fordow,” Leiter told Fox News.

Reporters pressed President Trump on whether eliminating the Fordow facility was a red line.

“No, it’s just something that people talk about having. We’re the only ones that have the capability to do it, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to do it at all,” the president responded.
“Yeah, we have the best military equipment in the world. You see that with this fight. We have planes that are undetectable, flying around like, you know, nobody’s able to see ’em — stealth.”

He reiterated that no decision has been made, but underlined that the Iranian regime had missed its opportunity.

“Look, they should have made the deal. I had a great deal for them. They should have made that deal. Sixty days, we talked about it, and in the end, they decided not to do it, and now they wish they did it.”
“They want to meet, but it’s, you know, it’s a little late to meet,” Trump added. “But they want to meet, and they want to come to the White House. They’ll even come to the White House. So we’ll see.”

The White House’s posture stands in direct contrast to weak-kneed foreign policy under former President Biden. Trump has flatly denied left-wing media claims that he is desperate for de-escalation.

In a post on Truth Social, the president rejected reports from Axios, stating:

“I have not reached out to Iran for ‘Peace Talks’ in any way, shape, or form. This is just more HIGHLY FABRICATED, FAKE NEWS!”

He added that the ball is in Tehran’s court:

“If they want to talk, they know how to reach me. They should have taken the deal that was on the table — Would have saved a lot of lives!!!”

That was followed by another post from the president demanding Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”

As tensions escalate, the world waits for Trump’s next move — and Tehran may only have two weeks left to avoid the full weight of American firepower.
