Trump Seen Heading To Play Golf Amid Reports of Health Issues

President Donald J. Trump brushed off a storm of baseless speculation this Labor Day weekend, making a public appearance Sunday morning as he headed to his golf club in Northern Virginia.

Dressed in black pants, a pullover, golf shoes, and his signature white “USA” hat, the president left the White House in an SUV and arrived at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling shortly after 10 a.m., according to the New York Post.

Trump himself posted on Truth Social during the outing, writing:

“Great playing Golf with Jon Gruden — A really nice guy, and true character!”

The photo with the former Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach quickly circulated online, though it wasn’t immediately confirmed if it was taken Sunday.

For days, social media had been ablaze with false claims that the president was gravely ill or worse. Hashtags like “#TrumpIsDead” and “#WhereIsTrump” trended on X after the White House released a blank Labor Day weekend schedule, sparking speculation after four days without a public event. His last official appearance had been Tuesday at a Cabinet meeting.

In reality, Trump had been seen heading to his golf club Saturday alongside his granddaughter Kai. The rumors, once again, were pure wish-casting from his detractors.

Vice President JD Vance also dismissed the speculation last week, affirming the president’s vitality. In an interview with USA Today, he emphasized Trump’s relentless work ethic despite his age:

“The president is in incredibly good health. He’s got incredible energy. He’s the last person making phone calls at night, and he’s the first person who wakes up, and the first person making phone calls in the morning.”

Pressed on whether he was prepared to step in as commander-in-chief if tragedy struck, Vance said:

“Yes, things can always happen. Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term, and do great things for the American people.”
“And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days,” he added.

To further put health concerns to rest, the White House recently released a memo from Dr. Sean Barbabella, the physician to the president. The report addressed minor swelling in Trump’s legs and bruising on his hand. Barbabella explained that the swelling was due to “chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and common condition among people over 70,” and that the bruising was “consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin,” part of Trump’s cardiovascular prevention routine.

While the Left wasted its time pushing morbid hashtags, Trump continued to focus on politics. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) revealed in a Fox News interview that the president is weighing a bold idea: hosting a presidential-style Republican National Convention ahead of the 2026 midterms to supercharge GOP momentum.

Johnson said Trump reminded him that Republicans won “every aspect” of the 2024 election and predicted the GOP will be well-positioned to dominate in 2026.

For President Trump, the message is clear: ignore the noise, play through the rumors, and keep driving the conservative movement forward.
