Trump Targets Michelle Obama, Dems in Late-Night Truth Social Spree
President Donald J. Trump transformed what was expected to be a calm Monday evening into a full-blown digital spectacle, unleashing more than 160 posts on Truth Social in less than five hours — a political thunderclap that reaffirmed his unmatched command of the online battlefield.
From 7:09 p.m. to 11:57 p.m., the president fired off a relentless stream of videos, memes, and pointed commentary at a pace exceeding one post per minute. The surge stunned both supporters and critics, drowning out traditional media narratives and signaling that questions about his energy or stamina were wildly misplaced.
Those doubts had circulated in recent weeks after whispers that the president sometimes begins his formal workday later in the afternoon. But Monday night’s Truth Social blitz sent a clear message: the commander-in-chief remains as forceful and relentless as ever.
“From apparently nodding off in the Oval Office to a work day that often only begins in the afternoon, questions have swirled about the 79-year-old president’s pace,” one aide said, “but no one doubts his drive when he’s on Truth Social.”
The most explosive moment came when Trump amplified a video from InfoWars host Alex Jones claiming that “Michelle Obama may have used Biden’s autopen in the final days of his disastrous administration to pardon key individuals.” The allegation — which has not been supported by public evidence — implied that the former First Lady may have played a behind-the-scenes role in outgoing clemency decisions, including controversial pardons granted to retired Gen. Mark Milley and Dr. Anthony Fauci.
These accusations follow the president’s ongoing effort to expose what he describes as widespread misuse of the autopen during Joe Biden’s final weeks in office. Trump recently moved to invalidate any autopen-authorized orders not backed by proof that Biden personally approved them, declaring such documents “null and void.”
But the autopen issue was only one piece of the evening’s barrage. Trump also revived his critiques of Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) over a video in which Kelly told service members they could refuse unlawful orders.
“Mark Kelly and the group of Unpatriotic Politicians were WRONG to do what they did, and they know it!” Trump wrote.
Other targets included California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former President Barack Obama, James Comey, and former Attorney General Eric Holder — a familiar cast of political antagonists whom Trump continues to accuse of undermining national security, public order, and the rule of law.
I just wonder what would happen if Melania Trump spoke about black folks the way Michelle Obama speaks about “white folks pic.twitter.com/Mu2W18WjXm

Several posts on his feed celebrated allies. One video featured Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) praising the administration’s agenda, accompanied by a glowing caption calling Trump “the greatest president to ever live.” Another post embraced the holiday spirit with the message “Christmas is officially great again,” paired with a still from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, a film in which Trump famously appeared.
The president also amplified claims that former Biden Chief of Staff Jeff Zients and Hunter Biden were the “SECRET PARDON PUPPET MASTERS” orchestrating the outgoing administration’s clemency spree. He blasted Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for alleged “crimes against the country,” condemned Democratic veterans critical of his military orders as “a threat to America,” and shared a post labeling Rep. Ilhan Omar “a terrorist from a terrorist family.”
One of the night’s most provocative shares involved an apparently AI-generated video depicting Elon Musk weighing in on the administration’s move to roll back temporary legal protections for Somali migrants living in Minnesota. The timing was notable: the Treasury Department is currently investigating allegations that Minnesota nonprofits diverted taxpayer dollars to overseas terrorist networks.
By Tuesday morning, the ripple effect from Trump’s social media offensive was impossible to ignore. Supporters praised his firepower and tenacity, while opponents accused him of amplifying “conspiracy theories.” But the political reality was unmistakable: Trump once again dominated the national conversation, demonstrating the raw, unfiltered communication style that has become central to his second-term presidency.
The late-night blitz also temporarily shifted focus away from mounting scrutiny over the administration’s domestic reforms — and made clear that the president has no intention of slowing down his America First agenda.
