Watch: DOGE's 'Big Balls' Was Finally Revealed on Jesse Watters, and How He Got His Name Is Priceless

On Thursday night, Fox News introduced the public to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) software engineer known by the nickname “Big Balls.”

For months, Democrats and a number of media outlets have pointed to the young staffer at DOGE as evidence that Elon Musk’s team lacks the seriousness required to address government corruption.

According to Newsweek, Edward Coristine, 19, was one of several DOGE members who appeared on Jesse Watters’ Prime Time show, which was filmed at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, adjacent to the White House.

“Who’s Big Balls?” Watters asked during the segment.

Coristine replied, “That’s me.”

“That should be obvious,” Musk quipped.

When Watters pressed further—“Why do they call you Big Balls?”—Coristine said it was simply his LinkedIn display name.

“People on LinkedIn take themselves, like, super seriously, and they’re adverse to risk, and I was, like, well, I want to be neither of those things, so I just said it, and honestly, I didn’t even think anyone would notice,” Coristine explained.

Watters then inquired about Coristine’s role at DOGE. Coristine said he’s analyzing federal government payment systems.

So far, his findings indicate that most of the payments made by federal agencies cannot be tracked due to the lack of standardized coding.

“It’s a huge cause for concern, because, like, the upstream thing, which is distributing the money, literally has no checks, and no accountability to the actual American taxpayer,” he noted.

“So it’s a huge vector for fraud, waste, and abuse,” Coristine added.

He emphasized that many government workers don’t treat taxpayer funds with the seriousness they deserve—mainly because they face no real consequences.

“The incentives will always decide the outcomes,” he said.

Elon Musk, for his part, announced he would begin reducing his day-to-day involvement at DOGE by the end of the month, transitioning into more of a part-time advisory role. However, the DOGE team’s mission will press on.
