White House Releases Full Salaries for Trump 47 Staff, Including Leavitt, Miller, More

The White House has released its annual report to Congress listing the salaries of President Donald J. Trump’s staff — and the numbers confirm what many already know: this administration is lean, experienced, and deeply committed to the America First mission.

According to the report, obtained by Axios, over 400 staffers currently work for President Trump. The top-paid White House official is senior advisor Jacalynne Klopp, earning $225,700. Klopp previously served in a high-level role at Immigration and Customs Enforcement during Trump’s first term — an appointment that underscores her firm stance on border security.

Edgar Mkrtchian, associate counsel, is the second-highest-paid staffer at $203,645. Mkrtchian also brings prior Trump-era experience from his service at the International Trade Administration in 2017.

Thirty-three senior officials, including some of the most well-known conservative voices in the administration, earn $195,200 annually. That group includes:

  • Susie Wiles, Chief of Staff and longtime Trump campaign powerhouse
  • Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff and immigration policy architect
  • Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary and firebrand former campaign spokeswoman
  • Tom Homan, “Border Czar” and former acting ICE director
  • Peter Navarro, Senior Counselor on Trade and Manufacturing, returning to serve again after leading Trump’s economic nationalism strategy during his first term

Five official White House speechwriters are listed, earning between $92,500 and $121,500 — a modest sum considering the influence these wordsmiths wield crafting the president’s message on everything from foreign policy to tax reform.

At the lower end of the pay scale, more than 100 staffers earn between $59,000 and $80,000, many of them junior staff, administrative personnel, and communications aides.

What stands out most in the report, however, are eight Trump officials who are listed as earning $0 — demonstrating their personal commitment to the cause and a willingness to serve without compensation.

Those officials include:

  • David Sacks, AI and crypto czar, and billionaire venture capitalist — likely declined a salary entirely
  • Marco Rubio, Secretary of State and current National Security Advisor — paid through the State Department
  • Steve Witkoff, real estate executive and special envoy — also working primarily through State
  • Pastor Paula White, Senior Advisor to the White House Faith Office — continuing to serve as a full-time pastor in Florida and forgoing a federal paycheck

This mix of experienced veterans, loyal public servants, and unpaid patriots reflects a team unified in delivering President Trump’s bold America First agenda.

Notably, Karoline Leavitt and Stephen Miller remain two of the most visible figures in the administration. Leavitt — the youngest press secretary in modern history — is known for her fiery rebuttals to the mainstream media and was a rising star in the president’s 2024 campaign. Miller, a long-time Trump insider and conservative thought leader, has returned to his post with a renewed focus on dismantling the administrative state and advancing a pro-sovereignty platform.

Together, this White House team is not only well-positioned to execute on Trump’s vision for national renewal — they’re doing so with unmatched resolve, efficiency, and purpose.
