Blagojevich Shreds Democrats: Calls Adam Schiff the 'Elvis' of Liars, Slams Party for Choosing ‘Comatose’ Biden
Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, once the target of a politically charged prosecution, delivered a scathing rebuke of the Democratic Party during a Friday interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, accusing top Democrats of hypocrisy, deception, and putting party power above the American people.
Blagojevich didn’t hold back. In what may be one of his most blistering media appearances since receiving a commutation from President Donald Trump, the former Democrat said the party has become a morally bankrupt machine that would rather prop up a cognitively failing president than risk power slipping from their grasp.
“The Democratic Party is an unethical organization,” Blagojevich said, blasting party leaders for shielding former President Joe Biden despite his well-documented mental decline. “They’d rather have a comatose Biden than Kamala Harris,” he added, echoing Watters’ own sharp criticism.
He charged that Democrats not only tolerate deception — they reward it.
“If there was a Hall of Fame for liars, like a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Adam Schiff would be Elvis,” Blagojevich declared. “Nobody who has any common sense could believe anything they say.”
Blagojevich ripped into Schiff — the California Democrat notorious for promoting the false Russia-Trump collusion narrative — as the face of institutionalized dishonesty. Schiff, according to Blagojevich, epitomizes the Democrats’ deep-rooted culture of corruption.
During a recent MSNBC appearance, Schiff attempted to paint Kash Patel, President Trump’s pick to lead the FBI, as unfit. “Kash Patel is the guy you go to when everybody else says, ‘No, I won’t do it. It’s too immoral, it’s too unethical, it’s too unlawful,’” Schiff told host Lawrence O’Donnell.
That kind of character assassination, according to Blagojevich, is exactly what one would expect from a man who helped weaponize federal institutions against President Trump for years.
The former Illinois governor also pointed out that Democrats had a clear path to invoke the 25th Amendment to replace Biden with then–Vice President Kamala Harris but refused. Why? According to Blagojevich, they believed “maybe we’re better off with a brain-dead Biden than her.”
This, he argued, proves that Democrats “don’t care about America.”
“Shouldn’t we all wish good things for our country?” he asked. “Isn’t it right to hope that a president, even the one from the other party, can succeed to do good things for his country and good things for people?”
Blagojevich, who served eight years of a federal sentence before Trump commuted it, has long claimed he was the victim of a political hit job. He maintains that he never attempted to “sell” Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat — a charge aggressively pushed by U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald.
Now, he says the same corrupt playbook used against him is being weaponized again — this time against President Trump by the likes of New York Attorney General Letitia James.
“I know what they did to me, and I do know they did the same thing to Trump,” he told FOX-32 in February.
Blagojevich's fiery takedown serves as yet another reminder that the modern Democratic Party is no longer a coalition of ideas — it's a cartel of liars, cover-ups, and calculated deceit.
