Lindsey Graham Says Whoever Leaked Intelligence Report Belongs In Jail
As President Donald J. Trump’s bold strike on Iran’s nuclear program continues to dominate headlines, one thing is clear: someone with high-level access leaked a classified intelligence assessment — and now, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is calling for accountability.
In an interview Thursday with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Graham didn’t mince words: the leak came from someone with access to congressional or intelligence committee briefings, and it was clearly aimed at undermining Trump.
“You get the report. You get the initial assessment, members of Congress do on certain committees,” Graham explained. “Somebody leaked that assessment to suggest that the operation was not what Trump said it was.”

View PlansWatters asked if it could have been a Pentagon leak, but Graham clarified the scope: “Could be a member of Congress. You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure this out.”
“They have a political motivation... If you leaked classified information, you should go to jail,” the senator said firmly.
The leak in question involved an early Defense Intelligence Agency assessment, which mainstream outlets like CNN and The New York Times quickly spun to downplay the effectiveness of Trump’s strike — falsely suggesting the operation “didn’t accomplish much.”
In reality, Operation Midnight Hammer delivered a crushing blow to Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Yet someone in Washington — likely an anti-Trump saboteur — went to the media in a desperate attempt to shift the narrative.
But not all fingers are pointed at Democrats. Some inside Trump’s orbit are concerned the leak may have come from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard — a former ally who’s now finding herself “in the line of fire.”
According to the Daily Mail, Gabbard was abruptly sidelined before a high-level briefing to Congress on the Iranian operation’s success. She was set to appear alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, but was pulled from the roster without explanation.
Sources suggest President Trump is furious about the leak and is reconsidering trust in individuals close to him.
Trump biographer Michael Wolff, often critical of the President, confirmed that Gabbard has emerged as a potential fall guy.
“It’s always important in the Trump script — the fallback is always who to blame... Tulsi is in the line of fire,” Wolff said.
But insiders say the media may be overhyping the Gabbard angle.
“The media is turning this into something it’s not,” one White House official clarified. “There is an investigation, but no conclusions have been made.”
What is clear, however, is that someone inside the federal apparatus tried to sabotage a major Trump national security success — and they used the Left’s favorite tools: selective leaks and anti-Trump media.
As Graham said, titles don’t matter.
“I don’t care what your title is. If you leaked classified information, you should go to jail.”

View PlansPresident Trump has already announced a tightening of national security protocols and fewer briefings for Congress — a move his critics are decrying, but one that is clearly necessary to stop these politically motivated breaches.
This is no longer just a national security issue. It’s a test of loyalty — and a test of justice.
