NBC Accidentally Debunks Left’s Immigration Talking Point After Nebraska ICE Raid

For decades, America’s ruling class has depended on cheap labor to boost profits, and illegal immigration has been their favorite pipeline. The corporate media—loyal enablers of the Democrat establishment—has long insisted that “Americans won’t do those jobs.”

But last week in Omaha, Nebraska, reality demolished that narrative.

After Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted the largest worksite raid of the year at Glenn Valley Foods, detaining 76 individuals illegally present in the U.S., NBC News tried to generate sympathy for the so-called “victims.”

But their opening sentence told a different story:

In plain English: Americans were lined up to take those jobs almost immediately—proving once again that they will work, especially when employers offer fair pay instead of exploiting illegal labor.

Democrats, of course, have long claimed that “these are jobs Americans won’t do.” That talking point just crumbled.

One user on X nailed it:

Others focused on the real culprits: the companies hiring illegal workers in the first place.

These comments reflect a broader truth that the media refuses to acknowledge: illegal immigration isn’t just a border issue—it’s an economic weapon used by elites to suppress wages and sideline American workers.

And the data backs it up. The August 2024 jobs report confirmed that all net job growth over the previous year went to foreign-born workers. And when the Bureau of Labor Statistics—still riddled with Biden holdovers—admitted it had inflated job numbers by over 800,000 between March 2023 and March 2024, a Goldman Sachs economist shrugged, blaming it on methodology that “excluded unauthorized immigrants,” who they said “strongly contribute to overall job growth.”

Translation? The establishment knows these workers are here illegally—and they’re counting on them to keep the numbers up and the wages down.

None of this is surprising when you remember that Democrats dominate the modern elite class. Look at how America’s wealthiest counties vote—it’s not exactly a mystery. The same people pushing the “jobs Americans won’t do” lie are also the ones raking in profits from underpaid illegal labor.

This time, though, even NBC couldn’t spin the facts. One paragraph accidentally blew the entire scheme wide open.
